Kendall Qualls Named Young Gun by the NRCC
CD3 among most competitive congressional seats in 2020 election cycle
Plymouth, Minnesota – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has promoted Third District candidate Kendall Qualls to “Young Gun,” the highest level of support in the Young Guns program.
The designation indicates Qualls has met a series of rigorous goals and surpassed program benchmarks to establish a clear path to victory. Young Gun candidates represent the most competitive congressional seats in the 2020 election cycle.
“This award represents the latest milestone in our campaign’s efforts to defeat Dean Phillips and bring balanced, sensible leadership back to the Third District,” said Qualls. “When he campaigned two years ago, Dean described “thoughtful leadership” as voting with party leaders 70 percent of the time. Since then, he’s voted for the destructive agenda of Nancy Pelosi and her left wing allies 100 percent of the time. That’s not thoughtful leadership, that’s lockstep allegiance to harmful priorities such as defunding the police, destroying private and employer-based health insurance, and tax hikes on the middle class. The Third District deserves better,” concluded Qualls.
