Qualls Supports Local Control of Public Education and School Choice for Parents. What role, if any, should the federal government play in the administration of Minnesota schools? For instance, there is no mention of education in the enumerated powers of Congress found in Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, but many state constitutions, Minnesota’s included, do address education.
The nation’s budget deficit continues to climb at alarmingly high rates, with no clear end in sight. According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the 2019 deficit will exceed $1 trillion, with the number expected to widen each year for the next decade.
The Kendall for Congress Committee today announced it has received the endorsement of Empower America, an independent nonprofit not affiliated with any political party. Empower America is dedicated to identifying, training and investing in diverse leaders who advocate limited government, individual liberty and opportunity for all.
The National Republican Congressional Committee has named Kendall Qualls, candidate for Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District, to their “on the radar” list for the Young Guns program. The Young Guns program recognizes campaigns that show organization and fundraising strength, through selective criteria established by the NRCC.
It was an honor to be endorsed this week by the Freedom Club Federal political action committee. In their endorsement they wrote:
